When your Safeboxbd storage and Mobilink client are not on the same local area network (LAN), the Mobilink client can still connect to the Safeboxbd storage service via the internet, as long as the computer running Safeboxbd has internet access. The computer running Safeboxbd does not need to have a public IP address for this connection to work.
How It Works
This connection is made possible through Mobilink’s relay service. The relay service establishes an encrypted tunnel between the Mobilink client and the Safeboxbd service, allowing secure data transmission between the two. This encryption effectively prevents any interception or tampering of data during transfer.
If the Mobilink client cannot access the Safeboxbd service on the LAN, it will automatically switch to internet access, requiring no additional configuration from the user. You can monitor the internet traffic usage through both the Mobilink client and the Safeboxbd interface. Once the internet traffic quota is exhausted, you will only be able to access the storage within the LAN.
Monitoring Internet Traffic Usage
Mobilink Client (Mobile Version):
- To check internet traffic usage, tap the button marked with a red circle in the upper right corner.
Mobilink Client (Desktop Version):
- On the storage device page, click the button marked with a red circle in the upper right corner to view the internet traffic usage for your storage device.
Safeboxbd Main Interface:
- You can directly view internet traffic usage on the main interface of the Safeboxbd application.
How to Obtain Free Internet Traffic
Upon installing and running the Safeboxbd application, you will automatically receive 5GB of internet traffic. To gain more traffic, follow these steps:
- Obtain Traffic Redemption Codes:
- After installing Safeboxbd, you will receive three traffic redemption codes.
- Refer Friends:
- You can refer friends to install and use Safeboxbd.
- Once your friend completes the installation, you can give them one of your redemption codes.
- Redeem Traffic:
- Your friend can use the redemption code you provided to immediately receive 20GB of traffic.
- Additionally, you will receive 20GB of traffic for each successful redemption by your friends.
- Refer Multiple Friends:
- You can continue to refer other friends to install and use Safeboxbd and give them the remaining two redemption codes.
- For each friend that successfully uses a redemption code, you will receive another 20GB of traffic.
- If you successfully refer three friends and they each use a redemption code, you will accumulate a total of 60GB of traffic.
- Friends who install the server will also receive three redemption codes, allowing them to refer others.
- If you obtain and use a redemption code from a friend, you will receive an additional 20GB of traffic.
- Limitations:
- Note that each server can only redeem traffic once. In other words, the same server cannot use multiple redemption codes to obtain additional traffic.
- Special Promotions:
- We may periodically offer additional traffic redemption codes based on your usage.
